We have tons of pictures from yesterday’s holiday luncheon at Portside Waterfront Kitchen & Bar in Salisbury. It was such an incredible sight seeing 63 of our team members celebrating our 10 year anniversary. Our volunteers are the most amazing people who truly understand the importance of giving back. Collectively we have given over $2.5 million to charitable partners in our surrounding communities! During our event we presented Lyndsey Haight from Our Neighbors Table, Kerri Perry from Community Action, Inc. in Haverhill, Heather Roberge, Ericka Sanborne and Mesha Quinn from York County Community Action Corp. and Kent Davis from Fuel & More with their annual donation checks. Thank you to everyone who attended yesterday’s event!
Thank you to everyone who came out to support us yesterday! A special thanks to the Salisbury Chamber of Commerce, Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce, Selectmen Chuck Takesian, State Representative James Kelcourse, and State Senator DiZoglio’s Aide Lauren LeBlanc Here’s to 10+ more years!
CAI Newsletter Community Action, Inc. (CAI) recently received a $20,000 donation from the Leeward Charitable Foundation, a long-time supporter of CAI, to help low income clients who need assistance paying their energy and heating bills.
HelloHomestead “I know how expensive pots and pans are,” Werner said. “At our store you pay a dollar or two dollars for something that would be $5 or $20 at the outlets, like whisks and spatulas. The kitchen items that we get are really incredible.”
