STEP 1 - CLEAR YOUR SCHEDULE:
Make sure you have nothing else planned for the day. Find someone to entertain the kids, and when the day comes take a shower and do your hair and makeup- you’ll be staring at yourself in the mirror all day.
STEP 2 - CREATE 3 ZONES IN YOUR ROOM:
Laundry baskets for each zone or piles around the room will work
The zones are:
1. LOVE IT
2. DONATE IT
3. TRASH IT
STEP 3 - TRY ON EVERYTHING:
Put something on, look in the mirror, and give yourself seconds to decide if you love it, want to donate it or have it thrown out.
STEP 4 - PUT BACK/DONATE/TOSS:
• After wiping down your shelves and drawers, neatly hang up/fold and put everything you'll be keeping back in your closet/dresser.
• Toss your donation items into clearly labeled boxes and bring them to either of our thrift store locations.
• Throw your worn, torn, stained items into trash bags.
STEP 5 - PREPARE FOR NEXT WEEK:
We will be cleaning out Dad's closet!
